Pastors for Texas Children in Fort Worth held a powerful prayer meeting today with 25 ministers for Fort Worth ISD schools, teachers, and Superintendent Kent Scribner. It was an uplifting time of affirmation, gratitude, and support.
We also heard a wonderful presentation by former state representative Lon Burnam on the imperative of getting out the vote in 2022.
Pastors are deeply grateful for the heroic job that our dedicated educators have done this past year. In a very real sense, teachers have saved children's lives! We wanted to show our appreciation to them and our support for them and our superintendent.
